Crews called to fire at factory in Essex


Firefighters were called to a fire at a factory containing 40 cars in Essex on Monday night.

Four fire engines were called to the fire at the building at Brookmans Farm, Lower Dunton Road, Brentwood, at about 1545 BST.

The entire building was alight and the fire spread to a nearby field causing field fires.

The fire was brought under control by 1800 BST, said an Essex Fire and Rescue Service spokesman.
