Man charged over dog walker death in Waltham Abbey

A man has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a dog walker was killed in Essex.

Sandra Toner, 51, and her Irish wolfhound died when they were struck in Parklands Road, Waltham Abbey, on 21 January this year.

The car then crashed into two parked vehicles and school entrance railings in Upshire Road.

A 57-year-old man from Waltham Abbey will appear at Harlow Magistrates' Court on 13 October.
