Man admits raping woman in Essex

A man has admitted raping a 46-year-old woman in Essex.

Aaron Miller, 25, appeared at Basildon Crown Court where he pleaded guilty to the attack on the A13 London Road, Southend, on 21 March.

The prosecution offered no evidence to another charge relating to an alleged incident in Chichester Road, Southend, in 2008 involving a 35-year-old woman.

Miller, of Delhi Road, Basildon, was remanded in custody until 18 November when he will be sentenced.
