Breeder has 67 racing pigeons stolen from Essex loft

Sixty-seven rare breed pigeons which were to be sold for racing have been stolen from a loft at farm in Essex.

Police said the birds were taken from Willow Pond Farm in Burnham Road, Battlesbridge, near Wickford.

The birds are tipplers and rollers, which are different colours, and white fantails.

Anyone with information about the theft, between Friday afternoon and Saturday morning, is asked to contact Essex Police.
