Electronic equipment has been stripped from a house in Essex after numerous warnings about excessive noise were ignored, a council has said.

Tendring District Council officers and police raided the house in Stourview Avenue, in Mistley, near Manningtree, on Friday, after neighbours complained.

They seized an amplifier, speakers, a stereo, radio, computer, games console and three televisions.

The council said it had served a noise abatement notice in December.

It said the noise had continued on numerous occasions since.
