A burglar dubbed "Goldilocks" because he sleeps in his victims' beds is being hunted by Essex Police.

Officers came up with the nickname because on two occasions, at a house in Sevenacres, beds were slept in and food was eaten before goods were stolen.

Police want to speak to Jesse Dobinson, 19, in connection with the incidents which took place between 28 February and 9 March.

Mr Dobinson has links to South Woodham Ferrers, Wickford and Chelmsford.

Detectives also want to speak to him in connection with an assault at the same address in which the victim was shot in the chest with a BB gun.

He is also sought over a knifepoint robbery of a pizza delivery man in Charles Street, Wickford on 4 April, in which a mobile phone, clothing and cash were stolen.

Anyone who knows of his whereabouts or has any information is asked to contact Essex Police.
