Bail granted in 'Goldilocks' case in Essex

A 19-year-old man, arrested by police in Essex looking for a burglar dubbed "Goldilocks" because he slept in his vitims' beds, has been granted bail.

It follow incidents at a house in Sevenacres where beds were slept in and food eaten before goods were taken.

A man, from South Woodham Ferrers, was arrested on suspicion of assault, criminal damage, robbery and burglary.

Police arrested him in Wickford on Wednesday and he will answer bail on 26 July pending further inquiries.
