Four men have been charged with manslaughter after a man died following a fight outside a Southend nightclub.

Reece Lamude, 37, from Rayleigh, was fatally injured outside Churchill's Bar in Tylers Avenue, Southend, on 19 June.

Mr Lamude, who had been celebrating a friend's birthday, died in hospital after sustaining neck injuries.

Police said four men, aged 42, 38, 32 and 31, had each been charged with manslaughter. They will face magistrates in Southend on 23 November.

The men, from the Rayleigh and Southend areas, have been released on police bail ahead of their court appearance.
