Manslaughter inquiry over Harlow man's death

An attempted murder inquiry in Essex has become a manslaughter investigation after the victim died in hospital.

A 52-year-old man suffered serious injuries outside Harlow Bowl in Terminus Street, Harlow, on 17 November.

Police said he died in hospital overnight on Sunday and his death was being treated as manslaughter.

A woman, 52, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on 17 November is due to answer bail on 21 December.

A post-mortem examination will be conducted in order to establish the cause of death, police added.
