Oliver Smith-Daye car park death: Woman, 21, charged with murder

A woman has been charged with the murder of a man who was found in an Essex car park on New Year's Day.

Oliver Smith-Daye, 29, is thought to have been attacked in Clacton-on-Sea. He suffered head injuries and died in hospital.

Elisha Francois, 21, from Trimley Close in the town has been charged with his murder.

She is due to appear at Colchester Magistrates' Court on 4 April, police said.

Charlie Jacobs, a 22-year-old man, also from Trimley Close, and 42-year-old Alan Didier from Renfrew Close in Beckton, east London are due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on 30 April.

They have been charged with attempted grievous bodily harm and affray respectively.
