Anton Jardin death: Two men charged with murder

Two men have been charged with the murder of a 39-year-old at party in Chelmsford, Essex.

Anton Jardin, of Eastwood Road, Rayleigh, was found in the back garden of a house in London Road on Sunday. It is believed he died from head injuries.

Sam Martin, 25, of Fairfax Drive, Westcliff, and Clint Spearpoint, 34, from Kelso Close, Rayleigh, will appear before Chelmsford magistrates later.

Eight men also held in connection with his death have been given police bail.

Three men, aged 23, 25, and 29, are due to return to police on 19 September.

Two men aged 27 and three men aged 28, 29 and 35 have been bailed until 26 September.

A 25-year-old woman from Hockley, arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in connection with Mr Jardin's death, has been released on bail until 21 September.
