Bus driver Allan Ketley cleared of disabled boy assault

A bus driver accused of grabbing and shoving a 14-year-old disabled passenger has had his conviction quashed.

Allan Ketley, of Collingwood Road in Colchester, was convicted of assaulting the boy in the Braintree area earlier this year.

But the 63-year-old, sentenced to complete 40 hours of unpaid work, appealed against the conviction.

It was overturned in a hearing at Chelmsford Crown Court.
