Gloucester shooting suspect bailed by police

A man arrested in connection with a shooting in Gloucester has been bailed by police.

Brett Ireson, 27, was being held on suspicion of attempted murder after a man was shot in the legs outside his home in Matson, on 9 July.

The 24-year-old victim remains in hospital. Mr Ireson was bailed to 23 September.

A £2,500 reward for information leading to the recovery of the firearm used in the incident is still offered.
