Two die at Fairford's Royal International Air Tattoo

Two men died at the the Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire, last weekend, it has emerged.

On Saturday 17 July, medics were called to reports that a man, believed to be in his 50s and from Swindon, had collapsed. He died a short while later.

An event spokesman said another man from Kent died on the same day.

He said both men's families and the coroner had been informed. Neither death is being treated as suspicious.

A spokesman for the Air Tattoo said: "We were extremely saddened to learn about the two deaths and our condolences go out to the families of the two gentlemen."

About 150,000 people attended the two-day event.
