Tributes to 'one of a kind' husband killed in A48 crash
The wife of a man who was killed in a road accident in Gloucestershire has paid tribute to her "one of a kind" husband.
Chris Hawker, 29, died after his car came off the A48 near Minsterworth and hit a fence on Thursday.
His wife Tracy, 38, said: "Knowing he won't be putting the key in the door or sending me a text - it feels like part of me has died."
Mr Hawker also leaves two sons, a step-son and step-daughter.
Mr Hawker, a support worker for people with learning disabilities, was born in Cheltenham and lived in Kingsway. He had five brothers, a sister and two nieces.
Mrs Hawker said he had enjoyed looking after his pets and playing on his Xbox, and was a keen football fan.
Overwhelming support from family and friends was helping her cope, she said.
She added: "All his friends on Xbox sent me a message and offered help. I haven't even met a lot of them.
"A lot of people obviously thought a lot of him."
