Gloucestershire cyclist injured in collision with car

A 52-year-old cyclist is in hospital with serious leg injuries following an accident on the A38 in Gloucestershire.

He was in collision with a Ford Focus car, being driven by an 82-year-old man, close to a lay-by on the A38 in Moreton Valence.

The road was closed for several hours while the emergency services worked at the scene.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision, which happened just before 2300 BST on Sunday night.
