Cannabis seized in Bristol and Somerset police raids

Cannabis plants worth an estimated £1,000 have been seized during a series of raids in the Bristol area.

Avon and Somerset Police officers searched eight properties in Withywood, Southmead, St Annes and Henbury.

In Bishop Sutton, Somerset, a garage and three bedrooms had been converted into a factory with 86 plants. Growing equipment was also discovered.

Four people were arrested on suspicion of cannabis production and released on police bail, pending further inquiries.
