Cinderford town centre works given funding boost

Work to improve the centre of a town in Forest of Dean has been given a £75,000 funding boost.

The money, from Cinderford's Local Action Group, means Gloucestershire's highways department can start work in January.

Improvements include widening the footpath outside the cinema and creating a shared space in the Triangle making it more suitable for events.

Time-limited parking bays will also be introduced.
