Gloucester event showcases disability learning awareness

An event is being held in Gloucestershire to promote the benefits of employing people with a learning difficulty.
The forum, run by the Gloucestershire Learning Disability Partnership Board, also highlights the support available to employers.
A spokesman for the organisers said delegates did not need to have vacancies or make commitments.
"Participants may find a potential route to employing people," he said.
The session is being held at The Guildhall, Eastgate Street, Gloucester, on Monday.
The Learning Disability Partnership Board is made up of clients, service users, carers and staff from the county council, social care, National Health Service and voluntary organisations.
