A man threw a brick through the door of a bus in Gloucester after the driver refused to wait for a passenger.
The bus was flagged down on Grange Road on Friday evening by a man who asked the driver to wait for a friend who was in a nearby pub.
The driver refused and when his route took him back past the stop a few minutes later he was stopped by the same man.
As the driver began to drive away a brick was thrown through the door.
The glass on the door was smashed but police said the driver was uninjured in the incident.
The offender, who ran off towards Byron Avenue, is described as white, in his 20s and about 6ft (1.83m).
He had short black spiked hair and was wearing a black jacket, trousers and shoes.
