'Cocaine' found in search of house in Hempsted

Some six kilograms of suspected cocaine has been seized from a house in Gloucestershire.

Officers stopped a vehicle in Gloucester on Wednesday and arrested a man on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.

In a later search of a property in Hempsted police discovered what they believe to be cocaine.

"If it tests positive this could be one of our largest Class A finds in the county," a police spokesman said.

The man arrested, a 41-year-old from Hempsted, currently remains in police custody.
