Calves found dead after theft from Aylburton farm

Two calves have been found dead after apparently becoming frightened and banging their heads during a theft from a farm in Gloucestershire.

Thieves broke into the farm in Stockwell Lane, Aylburton, and stole petrol and animal medication from an office next to the milking area.

Police say another calf was injured in the incident.

It happened some time between 19:20 BST last Wednesday and 04:20 BST on Thursday.
