Gloucestershire council gives furniture to local groups

Community groups and parish and town councils are being offered surplus furniture.

Gloucestershire County Council is reducing the number of offices as part of a programme to save £114m over the next four years.

As a result, it has furniture which is no longer needed.

Council leader Mark Hawthorne said the furniture could be "useful" to community organisations or local councils.
