Paraglider crashes into tree in Gloucestershire

A paraglider became stuck in a tree shortly after taking off from Frocester Hill in Gloucestershire.

Fire and Rescue crews received a call from the police shortly before 10:00 GMT to assist in the rescue of the male pilot.

On arrival the pilot was found to have already released himself from the glider and climbed down from the tree. He was uninjured.

Eleven firefighters attended with two engines from Stroud and Nailsworth.
