Arson probe after fire in grounds of Dunalley Primary School

Investigators believe a fire in the grounds of a primary school in Cheltenham was started deliberately.

Emergency services were called to Dunalley Primary School on Friday evening following reports of the blaze.

A Gloucestershire Police spokesman said fire brigade officials believed the cause to be "suspicious" and confirmed it was now being treated as arson.

He added house-to-house inquiries were in progress and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

Dunalley Primary School caters for than 200 children aged between four and 11 years.
