Letters on bad driving written by Abbeydale school pupils

Gloucester children have written to parents about the dangers of speeding and parking badly near their school.

Police said the year three children at Heron Primary School in Abbeydale had written the letters following complaints about problems with drivers.

Officers have selected the best ones, which will be sent to the parents.

Community support officer Khim Mortimer said it was hoped the letters would have a "more powerful effect" than those the police send every year.
