Cotswold dry stone wall stolen from garden near Tetbury

Thieves have stolen 20ft (6m) of a dry stone wall, valued at £3,000, from a garden in the Cotswolds.

The stones were taken over a two-week period between 9 and 23 July from a house in Tetbury Upton, police said.

The garden wall is made from Cotswold stone and stands approximately five ft (1.5m) tall.

"It would have taken some time to dismantle and perhaps a passing motorist may have witnessed what was happening," said a police spokesperson.
