Practice manager Sharon Head must pay back thousands
A doctors' practice manager must pay back £75,875 after she was jailed for fraud and deception.
Sharon Head, 43, was jailed for two years and nine months last year for obtaining more than £95,000 from the Newnham and Westbury surgery in Gloucestershire.
She must pay her former employers within six months or risk a further 18 months in prison.
Head, from Blakeney, was ordered to pay under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
The latest hearing at Gloucester Crown Court heard how she carried out the frauds through unauthorised pay rises and false overtime at over a seven-year period.
Lee Sheridan, who led the fraud investigation for the NHS, said Head had "shamelessly exploited a position of trust".
Debbie Lloyd, from NHS Protect said they had worked with Gloucestershire police to "put Sharon Head behind bars and then go after her assets".
