Lethal drugs stolen from Southampton pharmacy

A warning has been issued by police after potentially lethal drugs were stolen from a Southampton pharmacy.

The theft from Highfield Pharmacy on University Road took place between 1830 BST on Saturday and 1720 on Sunday.

Sealed vials containing big quantities of liquid diamorphine and morphine sulphate were stolen from the safe, along with morphine sulphate tablets.

Make-up worth £1,500 and aftershave and perfume worth £500 were also stolen. Police are appealing for information.
