Dog walker and pet die in crash in Farnborough

A pedestrian and her dog were killed when they were hit by a van in Hampshire.
The van was being manoeuvred out of a parking space at a block of garages in Pinewood Park, Farnborough, on Friday afternoon, when the accident happened.
The 85-year-old woman and her dog died at the scene at about 1700 BST.
The 32-year-old driver of the Ford Transit van has been arrested on suspicion of causing death while driving without due care and attention.
Police have appealed for anyone who saw the accident, the van prior to it, to contact police.
