Southsea man named after fatal flat fire

A man who died following a fire at a block of flats in Hampshire has been named.

Adrian Hamm, of Omega Street, Southsea, was rescued from the fifth floor of the eight-storey building after a blaze broke out on Monday afternoon.

But the 47-year-old was pronounced dead at Queen Alexandra Hospital.

Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious and an investigation into the cause of the fire has started.
