The court martial of a Royal Navy sailor accused of raping a colleague has been adjourned for legal reasons.
Engineering Technician (Marine Engineering) Kenni Dinnell, is accused of raping the woman at an accommodation block at Portsmouth Naval Base in July.
Mr Dinnell, who has served on board HMS York, denied raping the sailor of able seaman (seaman) rank.
Judge Jeff Blackett adjourned the case, being held at Portsmouth Naval Base, until a date to be set.
