Driver killed in lamppost crash in Hampshire
A driver has died after his minibus hit the kerb and then crashed into a lamppost in Hayling Island.
The 36-year-old, from Waterlooville, was driving a Ford Transit minibus south along the A3023, Havant Road, at about 0550 GMT on Wednesday.
He was taken to hospital in Portsmouth where he was pronounced dead.
A 47-year-old man travelling on the minibus suffered serious injuries and a second passenger, a 36-year-old man, suffered minor injuries.
It is not known what caused the minibus to hit the kerb, police said.
