Police investigating the shooting of a cyclist with a BB or pellet gun in Hampshire have released a CCTV image of a man they want to trace.

Two men were cycling down Bramshill Road in Eversley when the passenger of a silver Ford Focus leaned out of the window and fired at them, police said.

One of the cyclists was injured when he was struck by a ball bearing or a pellet, at 1340 BST on 24 April.

Hampshire Police have issued an appeal for witnesses.

Pc Philip Heath said: "This was a serious incident which could have led to someone receiving serious injuries."
