Waterlooville fight death man named as Simon Warton

A man who died from a stab wound suffered during a fight in Hampshire has been named by police.

Simon Warton, 27, of Orsmond Close, Waterlooville, was found in Dove Close in Waterlooville at 05:30 BST on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination found Mr Warton died of a stab wound.

Police have named Sean Bailey, 28, from Waterlooville, as being wanted for questioning in connection with the attack.

The public have been warned not to approach Mr Bailey if they see him and call 999.

Ch Insp Alison Heydari said: "Although there is no information to suggest a specific threat to anyone else in the community, any sightings should be reported to the police immediately."

A 16-year-old girl who was spotted with Mr Bailey has been found safe and well.

The teenager, who is understood to be Mr Bailey's girlfriend, was traced in the early hours of Friday.
