Agim Hoxha death: Man in court over burning car case

A 25-year-old man has appeared in court accused of killing a man found in a burning car near Southampton.

Arben Lleshi, of Onslow Road, Southampton, is charged with murdering crane driver Agim Hoxha, 29.

Mr Lleshi was arrested in Rome on 11 May, with the assistance of Italian police, and escorted to the UK by British officers.

He appeared before Southampton magistrates and was remanded in custody.

Mr Hoxha's body was discovered in his Mercedes in Chilworth on the outskirts of Southampton, on 10 April.

Mr Lleshi is due to appear at Winchester Crown Court on 28 May.

Afrin Lleshi, 36, of Shirley Road, Southampton, has previously been charged with perverting the course of justice.

He is due before Southampton Crown Court on 19 June.
