Jack Bland Odiham hit-and-run death driver given suspended sentence
A hit-and-run driver who killed a 19-year-old man in Hampshire has been given a suspended sentence.
Jack Bland died after he was hit by a car as he was walking on the unlit A287, near Odiham, in heavy rain in September.
He was discovered by a passer-by and was taken to hospital with serious injuries but later died.
Henry Stangroom, 20, from Odiham, was given an eight-month suspended sentence for dangerous driving.
He was also disqualified from driving for 18 months and ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work.
