Hampshire B3400 crash: Motorcyclist dies and driver airlifted

A motorcyclist has died and a car driver was airlifted to hospital after a crash in Hampshire.

The 30-year-old man was riding a Triumph Daytona when it was in collision with a Daihatsu Fourtrak on the B3400 at Andover Down, Hampshire.

Emergency crews declared the man dead at the scene on Monday evening.

The 19-year-old male driver of the car, who was driving in the opposite direction, was taken to Southampton General Hospital by air ambulance.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
