Southampton lecturer released after drugs raid
A senior lecturer at a Hampshire university has been released without charge after being arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine.
Five people were arrested during a raid on a house at Southcliff Road, Southampton in December.
The BBC understood Southampton Solent University business lecturer Kristine Lord, 64, was among those held.
The university suspended her at the time of the arrest and has now confirmed she no longer works for them.
A spokeswoman said she was unable to comment on whether Ms Lord decided to resign or was dismissed.
Three men have been charged in connection with the raid, while a fourth man was released without charge.
