A teenager who died after he was hit by a lorry in Hampshire will "never be forgotten", his family has said.

Jack Brown, 15, from Frimley in Surrey, was struck by the white Volvo lorry at Hartford Bridge on the A30 at Hartley Wintney on Monday afternoon.

He was taken to Frimley Park Hospital where he was later pronounced dead. No other vehicles were involved.

In a statement, Jack's family said his "energy and humour touched everyone that met him".

It continued: "Jack was a loving and caring boy who was adored by all his family.

"He was a fantastic brother and the best son a parent could ask for.

"We miss you Jack, with all our hearts, and you will never be forgotten."

The occupants of the lorry were left shaken but unhurt.

Police said a file was being prepared for the coroner.
