Residents trapped by a fire in a block of flats in Southampton have been saved by firefighters.

Eleven people were led to safety after the blaze broke out in a flat and communal area at York Close just after 02:00 BST.

It took 58 firefighters almost three hours to bring the fire in the four storey building under control.
