Isle of Wight policemen arrested over sex offences
Three police officers have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit serious sexual offences on the Isle of Wight.
In total six men are being questioned about crimes that were committed this year, Hampshire police said.
Superintendent Julie Fry said: "Specialist officers are providing care and support to the victim."
The investigation has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC).
An IPCC spokesperson said: "At this stage we are assured that the force is taking a vigorous approach to dealing with this serious matter.
"We will continue to keep the matter under review and the force will keep us updated on developments as they occur."
