Assistant head teacher Matthew Hill cleared of sex act charge

An assistant head teacher accused of performing a sex act near a sleeping boy during a play centre sleepover has been found not guilty.

Matthew Hill, 40, was cleared of one count of outraging public decency by a jury at Portsmouth Crown Court.

Mr Hill, of Mallory Crescent, Fareham, was the assistant head teacher at Lyndhurst Junior School.

He was helping out voluntarily at the play centre Christmas event in December 2012.
