A man who was found lying dead on a footpath in Southampton has been named.

Nicholas James Beattie, 32, was from the local area. He had been discovered in Golden Grove on Friday afternoon.

Hampshire Constabulary have arrested a fourth man, aged 37, in connection with the death after arresting three men in their 40s on Saturday.

Police are still treating the death as unexplained as a post-mortem examination on Saturday showed "indeterminate findings".

All four men remain in police custody.

Insp Pete Jones said a mobile police station would be set up in Golden Grove on Monday. Officers are also conducting house-to-house inquiries in the area and are examining CCTV footage.
