Further arrests over Portsdown Hill gunshots

Ten people have been arrested after reports of shots being fired on a hill outside Portsmouth.

Armed officers were called to the scene on Sunday at 17:20 BST. A gun was recovered.

Five people arrested on suspicion of affray were released on bail until 9 July. Two others were released without charge.

Officers are continuing to question three men aged between 24 and 26, who remain in custody.

Between them, the three have been arrested on suspicion of affray, suspicion of possession of a firearm and suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon.
