Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a man who was stabbed in the chest.

Shkelzen Dauti, 21, died in hospital after he was found in the road in Gilpin Close, Southampton, in the early hours of Saturday.

Hampshire Constabulary said his death was being treated as suspicious and investigations into the circumstances were continuing.

The force said Mr Dauti, better known as Genny, was originally from Albania.

Detectives urged anyone who knew or worked with him or knew his movements leading up the early hours of Saturday, to get in touch.

Det Ch Insp Ellie Hurd said: "It remains unclear at the current time as to how he came to be injured.

"We want to hear from anyone who can help us build a better understanding about Genny's life in Southampton."

Police said a 30-year-old woman, a 27-year-old man and a man aged 28 were arrested on Monday.
