Liquid damages four luxury cars in Kidderminster

Damage estimated at about £120,000 was caused to four luxury cars in Worcestershire when a corrosive substance was thrown over them.

The incident happened in the car park of a business unit on the Easter business park, Kidderminster, just off the A449 at about 1300 BST on Tuesday.

A man was seen to pour a substance from a large bottle on to a Lamborghini, an Aston Martin, a BMW and a Porsche.

The bottle was recovered from undergrowth near to the business park.

'Down the hill'

Extensive damage was caused to the cars' paintwork.

The offender was white and described as in his late-teens and slim.

He was wearing a blue T-shirt, dark tracksuit bottoms with a white leg stripe and a cream-coloured beanie hat.

West Mercia Police appealed for anyone driving past who saw the incident or anyone matching the man's description to contact the force.

Pc Catherine Greig said: "It's quite likely someone saw the offender on the way to the business park or making off down the hill towards the Viaduct Inn.

"We believe he was not wearing gloves and may possibly have suffered burns from the substance he was attacking the cars with.

"Therefore I would urge any doctors or medical staff to contact us if they have been approached to treat unexplained injuries of this nature."
