REDI Centre retraining service 'could move'
A Worcestershire adult education centre threatened with closure due to funding cuts could be relocated, councillors say.
The REDI Centre in Redditch, owned and managed by the borough council, offers retraining after redundancy.
On Wednesday, councillors recommended the service be moved. They have been considering closing, relocating or restructuring the service.
A final decision will be made at a full council meeting on 9 August.
People using the centre have been running an online campaign to try to keep it open.
The council said it is not known what would happen to the building if the service was moved.
