New rescue equipment has been demonstrated by firefighters at a rowing club in Hereford.

The fire service said it is called to 50 to 60 water rescues in a typical year in Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

Fire stations in Hereford, Evesham and Worcester have received new and enhanced water rescue craft and towing facilities.

Members of the public were invited to see a demonstration on the River Wye.
