Pair arrested in loan shark probe on Rifle Range estate

A man and a woman have been arrested by police investigating complaints about loan sharks working in Worcestershire.
Police said they want to know more about unofficial moneylenders charging high rates of interest and harassing clients on a Kidderminster estate.
A man in his 30s and a woman in her 60s were arrested on suspicion of blackmail on Thursday and a search was carried out on the Rifle Range estate.
The pair have since been released on police bail until mid-September.
Det Insp Dean Jones from West Mercia Police said: "The allegations concern the activities of so-called loan sharks in that area over several years.
"We urgently need to talk to anyone who may have been involved with unofficial moneylenders there or know anything that could help our investigation."
